El Cortijuelo

The place where we grew up free

Several generations of our family have grown up here. This place is a treasure for us, which is why the love we have for it is so evident in the atmosphere in and around El Cortijuelo.

Here at El Cortijuelo we learned what it means to breathe the pure, fresh air of the country. This was where we played as children and ran and felt free. When we all get together, we can’t help but talk about and relive those memories, and they always bring a smile to our faces.

A farmhouse with more than 150 years of history

Our parents decided 14 years ago to restore what was once my grandparents’ farmhouse and start this project. We have grown up here, and we are aware of how taking a break from everything for a few days enriches our lives. To escape from the frenzy of the city and lose oneself in natural surroundings. We believe that these historic rural accommodations are located in a beautiful area and are blessed with ideal features to make such an escape a reality.

Did you know that each house has its own life, its own story? If the Casa Grande was a special farmhouse, where our parents spent their summers, La Casilla was the home of the caretakers. El Horno, on the other hand, was a special oven used to prepare blond leaf tobacco, and El Pajar was used as a straw loft for many years.

We encourage you to contact us if you have any questions about the characteristics of the accommodations or services we offer.
